Job Role: Sales Engineer
Location: Leicestershire (at least 1-2 days in the office with the rest UK travel)

Shift: Monday - Friday
Salary: 55k - 60k + car

Job Role Responsibilities:

My client is looking for a Sales Engineer to join the business. You will play a key role in expanding the business market presence by identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and working closely with their technical and project delivery teams to offer tailored automation solutions.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Understand client needs and propose suitable automation solutions in collaboration with technical teams
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions
  • Contribute to the development of strategic sales plans and revenue targets
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback

The Candidate:

  • Proven track record in business development, ideally within engineering, automation, robotics, or industrial solutions
  • Technical Engineering background
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Technical aptitude or experience working with engineering teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to travel as required - UK travel
