Location: Leicester (LE4) - Office Based

Working Hours: 40 Hours

Salary: 40-55k

The Role

A Role has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer at an Engineering company based in Leicester. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing products relating to Crushing and Screening Equipment. Using computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD(2D) and Pro/Engineer(3D).

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed design documents and drawings.

• Create designs to enhance current production machines performance and aesthetics.

• Annalise design and build technical solutions that deliver our client's goal.

• Work to develop, manufacture and market the crushing products.

• Estimate time and costs required to complete projects.

The Candidate

• Strong experience in either AutoCAD(2D) and Pro/Engineer(3D) - Essential.

• Experience of new product drawings - Essential.

• Experience of large machinery products.

• Proactive and able to manage own workload.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Organised with a good attention to detail.

• Able to meet critical deadlines.

• Team orientated.
