Head Chef - Prestigious Cambridge Site
Salary: £39,000 - £41,000 (DOE)
Are you a skilled, ambitious Head Chef looking for a high-profile opportunity to lead a talented team and make a real impact? Evolve Hospitality is recruiting for a prestigious Sodexo site in Cambridge, and we're looking for a culinary leader to take ownership of a brand-new menu and ensure it's executed flawlessly every day.

Lead a brigade of up to 5 chefs, inspiring them to deliver exceptional food with precision and consistency.
Be the driving force behind the success of a newly implemented menu, maintaining Sodexo's exacting standards.
Take ownership, problem-solve, and make key operational decisions in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
Enjoy a structured 40-hour week across 7 days, with up to 2 weekends per month; closed on Bank Holidays and over Christmas.
Free on-site parking is available, with a simple booking system to secure your space.
What You'll Be Leading:
Oversee the daily delivery of the new menu, ensuring every dish meets specification and exceeds expectations.
Run the pass with authority, keeping service smooth and standards high.
Manage all kitchen administration, including:
Weekly rota planning
Ordering and stock control
Compliance, due diligence, and food safety standards
Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of excellence and pride in every plate.
Act as the ultimate point of accountability for the menu's success - your team's performance and the quality on every plate rests in your hands.
About You:
Proven experience as a Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready to step into a leadership role.
A natural leader with a hands-on approach and the ability to inspire your brigade.
Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a passion for operational excellence.
Organised and experienced in stock control, ordering, rotas, and kitchen operations.
Ambitious, confident, and driven to lead a high-performing kitchen in a prestigious environment.
