About the roleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing targeted support to students with additional needs, including SEN, EAL or those requiring academic intervention
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence
Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery, differentiation and classroom management
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence in learning
Working collaboratively with teachers, the SEND department and pastoral teams
Supporting students social, emotional and academic development in line with school expectations
