The post is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday) however, some flexibility of working hours will be required due to early morning starts and call-out requirements. Responsible to the Fleet Project Manager and working under the supervision of the Workshop Supervisor; in the maintenance, service and repair of vehicle, plant equipment, agricultural or horticultural machines, all in support of the Council's Transport and Vehicle Maintenance Service. You must have a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Qualification NVQ 3 and hold a full valid Class C driving licence. You will be required to work in a team which provides a range of services to a range of departments across the Council.
