Media Lead / Associate Director

We are looking for a MediaLead to play a pivotal role in our growing team to oversee and input into innovative and high-performing campaign strategies across multiple media platforms. The role sits within the Distribution team as part of the media and performance arm. You will drive modern approaches and quality output in your own work and in the teams you work with, and provide a high level of social consultancy and senior client support. Key Responsibilities Owning the strategy, structure and success of the Media and Performance department - implementing operational standards across all accounts. Leading the Media team in delivery excellence, supporting or leading client calls, collaborating on bi-weekly team meetings, building strong relationships with the rest of the team, etc. Drive performance across all accounts, inspiring teams, supporting with reporting insight and training sessions. Showcase fresh paid approaches and measurement tactics across all clients, working with external teams understand context / challenges. Testing and innovation - A/B testing, alphas/betas, creative experimentation. Bring thought leadership and solutions for modern advertising techniques across paid social, digital and search. A strong understanding of the effect of LLM / Gen AI when it comes to brand health, performance and media delivery - communicating approaches clearly. Lead the preparation and input into strategic meetings across clients. Collaborate with key teams such as the Account Management teams through Social Partners, and via Growth and New Business with the Client Partner Directors. Reviewing current tech stack, tools and licenses to ensure we have the best methods to deliver on client objectives successfully. New business and growth leading on paid, performance, measurement approaches with tailored responses per pitch or proposal. Driving commercial success for accounts, understanding targets and pushing growth within retainers. Previous in depth experience with paid social ads managers within Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, paid search such as Google, YouTube, GDN, PMax, and Programmatic (Display, Podcasts). Relationships with DSPs, SSPs, publishers, media partnerships and data partners. Experience with tracking set ups, UTMs, dashboard maintenance and analytics tools - GA4, Adobe Analytics, Google DV360, Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Adform. Experience with Sprout, Meltwater, Supermetrics, RivalIQ, or a willingness to learn these tools, or bring your existing tool suite knowledge with you. Tech stack experience - paid management tools on activation, audience insight / segmentation and reporting. Experience with measurement frameworks, attribution and experience with driving ROI. Experience or understanding in SEO - keyword planning, performance analysis, LLM and GEO understanding and optimisation. Client facing experience. Experience with both B2B and B2C clients. Experience with global clients.
