Job Title: Senior Claims Executive Location: Birmingham, B3 Salary: £50,000 plus excellent benefits Working Pattern: Full Time Hybrid - 3 days office-based plus remote working Class of Business: Sports and/or Personal Accident About the Role Our client is seeking a Senior Claims Executive within the Sports Claims Division, acting as a key liaison between clients and insurers to ensure claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory standards. You will lead all aspects of intricate claims processes, provide outstanding service, and encourage positive connections with partners throughout the organisation. The key task will be addressing liability claims, as well as aiding in property and personal accident matters. As a senior member of the team, you'll take ownership of your workload, contribute to strategic projects, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Key Responsibilities Leading and resolving liability claims with clients, insurers, and third parties. Preparing and presenting claims documentation to underwriters and responding to technical queries. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems. Leading negotiations on claims settlements to achieve efficient outcomes for clients. Supervising delegated authority contracts and ensuring efficient management. Providing expert mentorship and updates to clients throughout the claims process. Contributing to internal projects and supporting wider team objectives. Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company procedures. Being responsible for the processing of collections, payments, and related data. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience The successful candidate will have strong experience handling Sports and/or Personal Accident/Liability claims, ideally within an international broker, and a solid understanding of insurance principles and the claims process, including use of ECF. They will be familiar with London Market operations, including Lloyd's and company markets, and possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organised and commercially aware, they will be able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, solve problems effectively, and contribute positively as a proactive and collaborative team member, with the ability to support more junior colleagues where required.
