Land Agent / Rural Surveyor - South West Oxfordshire

The Opportunity

A well-established and respected rural property consultancy is seeking a MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to join its Oxfordshire office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive team.

The firm has a long-standing reputation for excellence in rural land agency, estate management, and agricultural consultancy. With deep roots in the farming and rural community, the team offers a broad range of services including valuations, lettings and sales, planning and development, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private and corporate clients
  • Deliver expert advice on agricultural tenancies, land use, and rural property matters
  • Conduct detailed valuations and prepare clear, accurate reports
  • Advise on compulsory purchase, utilities, and compensation
  • Support clients with rural planning and development projects
  • Assist in the delivery of infrastructure schemes
  • Contribute to farm agency and land transactions

Candidate Profile

  • MRICS qualified
  • CAAV membership (desirable but not essential)
  • 2-4 years post-qualification experience in rural surveying
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Full UK driving licence

Working Arrangements

  • Core hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • Full-time (37.5 hours/week), with flexible and hybrid working options available (minimum 30 hours/week)
