Primary Teaching Assistant - Ebbw Vale
Location: Ebbw Vale
Start Date: 24th February 2026
Hours: Flexible (2-5 days per week)
Pay: 90 per day (increases may apply based on experience, qualifications, and client rate)
Contract: Temporary
Exciting opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant in Ebbw Vale!
This role is perfect for confident, adaptable individuals who can support classrooms from Nursery through Year 6.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting learning across all primary year groups, from Nursery to Y6
Assisting teachers with classroom management and resources
Supporting children with diverse learning needs in a safe and nurturing environment
Implementing school programs such as Read Write Inc or Makaton if trained
Requirements:
Experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant across multiple year groups is essential
Registration with the EWC and enhanced DBS (we can assist with the process if needed)
Desirable: Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification, Makaton training, Read Write Inc training
Confidence in supporting children of all ages throughout the primary school
