The role

We're looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join our Experience Architecture practice in Digital Technology Solutions. In this senior role, you'll lead by example-bringing design thinking to a complex project, guiding the user experience of the University's Enterprise CRM; ensuring the voice of our users is included in all project outcomes.

What you'll do:
  • Provide design leadership to a cross-practice project squad, from problem definition to refined solutions.
  • Lead the user research and design process, translating insights into intuitive service and product designs.
  • Partner with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Enterprise Architecture to align user experience with technical and business strategy.
  • Facilitate co-design workshops and produce high value artefacts like service blueprints, journey maps, and wireframes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Service Experience practice by refining templates, guidelines, and processes.
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in user experience and service design, with a strong research background.
  • Highly developed problem definition and problem solving skills, especially in complex environments.
  • Skilled communicator who can engage stakeholders at all levels and champion the value of design.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisationor higher education environment.
  • Previous experience working in CRM platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics, would be highly valued but not essential.

This full time position is a fixed term role until January 2027 (possibility of extension) at a HEW 8 Higher Education Level located at Callaghan Campus.
