Recovery Driver

Location: Banbury
Salary: £17 per hour to £22.41 per hour (This higher rate can be inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: Flexible rota, which may include weekends aswell as days or nights (Please state which hours you are able to work up on your registration)

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced HGV2 Recovery Driver to join our growing recovery team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in providing a professional, friendly service and enjoys working independently.

• Recovering vehicles safely and efficiently using a HGV2 recovery truck

• Providing roadside assistance and vehicle transport as required

• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

• Completing vehicle checks and basic maintenance

• Accurately completing job paperwork and using job management systems

• Working flexibly on a rota, including weekends if required

• Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (HGV2/LGV2/Class 2)

• Driver CPC

• Previous recovery or towing experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)

• Good geographical knowledge and ability to use sat nav systems

• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

• Ability to work under pressure and handle roadside situations calmly

• £17 per hour to £22.41 per hour (The higher rate can be inclusive of holiday pay)

• Modern, well-maintained recovery vehicles

• Supportive team and training where required
