Our high-end, London-based client is looking for a motivated and experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across some of London s most prestigious gardens and landscapes, delivering high-quality horticultural care and leading a small team on-site.

Garden Maintenance Team Leader Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a small team of gardeners
• Perform a full range of garden maintenance tasks, including planting, pruning, lawn care, and seasonal work
• Liaise confidently and professionally with clients
• Ensure tools, machinery, and vehicles are properly maintained
• Adhere to health and safety procedures on site
• Support team scheduling and job planning as required

Garden Maintenance Team Leader Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous experience supervising a small team (essential)
• RHS Level 2, NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture, or equivalent (or currently working towards qualification)
• Strong horticultural knowledge and plant care skills
• Familiarity with garden machinery and equipment maintenance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High standards of work and attention to detail
• Good physical fitness; must be comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work including heavy lifting

Garden Maintenance Team Leader Desirable criteria:

• PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
• Experience working in high-end or private residential gardens
• A proactive, flexible attitude and passion for gardening
