Job Title: Manufacturing Operative
Location: Castle Donington
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 7:30am 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join our established team in Castle Donington. This role is ideally suited to a practical, skilled individual with a background in woodworking, joinery, or export packing. You will be responsible for manufacturing timber packing cases and packing commercial goods for export to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing timber cases and crates using hand and power tools
• Reading and working from basic specifications and measurements
• Export packing of commercial and industrial goods
• Ensuring packing meets export, handling, and safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, accuracy, and quality
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting general manufacturing and packing operations as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, woodworking, or joinery environment
• Confident use of hand and power tools
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Non-Essential (Desirable) Requirements:

• Forklift licence
• Full UK driving licence
• General warehouse or packing experience
