The Logistics Coordinator is a maternity cover position, providing support to the logistics manager, ensuring accurate data entry of all incoming and outgoing logistical movements and raising correct paperwork, enabling transport to be arranged and dispatches documented.

Based in Doncaster the logistics coordinator, duties include:

Inputting all information on SAP and other operating systems.

Confirming all dispatches, raise invoices, creating pick slips and packing notes, sending to relevant transport companies, entering transport costs for intercompany shipments.

Keeping all relevant personal informed of all deliveries and dispatches.

Liaising with 3rd party suppliers for timely processing of purchase orders.

To apply for the logistics coordinator position, you will need:

Must have experience from within a similar admin/coordinator position.

NVQ level qualifications in a relevant subject.

Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ideally, experience with SAP, but training can be given.

Logistics coordinator benefits inc. a salary of c.£29k p/a as well as:

Hours: 38 hrs per week Mon Fri which can be agreed between 6am and 6pm. Overtime is available that includes weekday and weekends from Feb to Jun.

Holidays: 27 days plus bank holidays - pro rata d to reflect contract period.

Pension: Standard company pension is available through provider.

Extras: Drinks and snack machines available on site at cost.

Environment: The site is primarily a production facility that also operates a distribution hub for grounds products. Due to the nature of product, the site is muddy in winter and dusty in summer.

PPE: High vis, safety boots, and safety glasses must be worn for any out of office activity.

Future: Long standing local business with excellent retention means that permanent positions become available infrequently. However, for those that show aptitude, permanent positions will be considered if a position is available.
