Senior Architectural Technologist

Konker is recruiting an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join a RIBA practice based in Stockport.

Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team, ideally with knowledge in the residential and education sectors, particularly experience working on projects such as one-off homes, affordable housing, and larger-scale urban regeneration.

This RIBA Practice has over 20 members of staff, with varying experience and expertise.

As a practice, they offer an early finish on Fridays at 1 PM and a flexible working arrangement during the week. Hybrid working is also offered to staff.

Project-wise wise they work on anything from bespoke new homes, large urban regeneration projects, affordable housing, care homes, healthcare, conservation and education facilities - schools etc.

The Role: Senior Architectural Technologist

• Produce tender package drawings.
• Assist within the busy practice.
• Produce and assist with planning applications.
• Produce information for site meetings and different stages.
• Use Revit daily
• Run your own projects
• Help mentor junior staff

Salary for this position ranges from £35k - £45k doe. As a company they offer a flexible working arrangement, including lunch time finish on Fridays and the option of a split working at home/in the office.

The Candidate: Senior Architectural Technologist

• Live within a commutable area to Stockport
• Ability to use Revit would be advantageous.
• Able to work across all RIBA Stages and on a variety of residential projects.
• Can communicate with different consultants, engineers etc
• Strong detailing skills
