Job Description

Paint Sprayer - Manufacturing - 3k Signing Bonus

Denham 43,490 (inc. shift allowance) Permanent Double Days

We're recruiting an experienced Paint Sprayer for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. You'll be applying precision coatings to aviation safety components - this is industrial manufacturing spray work, not automotive body repair.

What you'll be doing:

  • Applying primers, topcoats, lacquers, and specialist coatings (including dry film lubricants) to engineering components using spray guns
  • Working to technical specifications and engineering drawings
  • Masking components using tapes, plugs, and bungs to precise requirements
  • Setting and operating curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations
  • Inspecting finished work - visual checks plus measuring paint thickness and gloss levels
  • Unmasking and touching up components as required
  • Maintaining spray booth equipment, pumps, and machinery
  • Managing stock levels on SAP and ensuring batch traceability

What you need:

  • Proven spray painting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (not automotive body shop)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Understanding of H&S procedures and COSHH regulations
  • Basic IT skills and competency with hand tools
  • Flexibility to work double day shifts
  • GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English

What's on offer:

  • 35,500 base salary + 22.5% shift allowance (total package 43,490)
  • 3,000 signing bonus (paid in first year)
  • Double day shifts: Earlies 06:00-14:00 Mon-Thu / 06:00-12:00 Fri, Afters 13:45-22:00 Mon-Thu / 11:45-15:00 Fri
  • Strong benefits package
  • Genuine progression opportunities
  • Stable, long-term work with over a decade of secured contracts

This is a permanent position with a leading name in aerospace manufacturing. You'll be working on safety-critical components where precision and quality are essential.
