HGV Technician
Brian Currie Ltd are currently recruiting HGV Technicians to join our Northampton, Daventry, Bedford, Biggleswade and Milton Keynes teams, offering a great working environment, excellent facilities, and competitive pay.
At our Northampton, Bedford and Biggleswade depots we are looking for both day shift and night shift heavy goods vehicle technicians. At our Milton Keynes depot we are looking for night shift heavy goods vehicle technicians. At our Daventry depot we are looing for day shift heavy goods vehicle technicians.
Day shift Pattern - Northampton, please note these may vary per depot (45 hours per week)
Early Shift: 06 30 (Monday to Friday)
Late Shift: 12 00 (Monday to Friday)
Day shift Pattern - Daventry (45 hours per week)
08 00 (Monday to Friday)
Night shift Pattern - please note these may vary per depot (48 hours per week)
18 30 (Monday to Thursday)
18 30 (Tuesday to Friday)
What the HGV Technician will have:
- Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LCV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
- The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
- The ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
- All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
- HGV Class I would be a benefit.
