Cost Engineer

Prism Connect is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Engineer to join a reputable Oil & Gas company based in Aberdeen. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost estimates, analysing project costs, and supporting project teams to ensure financial efficiency across all phases of the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and engineering personnel to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving cost control and ensuring project budgets are adhered to, directly impacting the company's financial performance.

• Proven experience as a Cost Engineer, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Renewables or Energy sector
• Strong understanding of project cost control, estimating, and budgeting
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data and prepare detailed reports
• Familiarity with industry-standard cost management software and tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, finance, or related fields will be advantageous
