Policy Advisor/Strategist (Digital Inclusion and Accessibility)
Contract: 6 Months
Location: Flexible base, 2-3 days per week onsite
Day Rate: £(Apply online only)/day (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Policy Advisor and Strategic Specialist to join a high-profile central government project. This role focuses on shaping and implementing policies that drive diversity and inclusion across public services, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft ministerial briefs and papers for senior decision-makers
- Prepare responses to parliamentary questions, particularly on diversity and inclusion
- Develop and draft policy documents aligned with government objectives
- Provide briefings to senior civil servants and ministers
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across departments
Essential Skills Experience
- Previous central government experience is essential
- Proven ability in policy development and implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for high-level briefings
- Excellent stakeholder management ? proactive and results-driven
