HGV Class 1 Driver

• 19.00 to 20.00 per hour plus generous benefits package
• Monday to Friday and Weekends available
• 10pm to 6am and 2pm to 10pm shifts
• Temp to perm

A leading agri-foods haulier is seeking dedicated HGV Class 1 shunter drivers to join a dedicated logistics team located at Whittlesey near Peterborough.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely manoeuvre and position trailers within the yard using a Class 1 vehicle
• Carry out vehicle checks in line with company and DVSA standards
• Liaise with on-site teams to ensure smooth trailer flow and efficient yard operations
• Complete all required paperwork and use digital yard management systems
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

What You'll Need:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous shunting experience (minimum 6 months preferred)
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and on-time performance
• Training will also be provided
