Position: Fire and Security Engineer

Location: West Midlands

Salary: 35,000 - 39,500

Fire and Security Engineer required, to carry out a range of work including installations, servicing and repairs on intruder alarms, door access and fire alarms across the West Midlands region.

Fire and Security Engineer Job Overview

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of fire alarm, intruder alarm and door access systems across the West Midlands.
• Working in a variety of sites, such as offices, government buildings, schools etc.
• Ensure all installations comply with contract specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Operate effectively both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining strong customer communication and professionalism.

Fire and Security Engineer Job Requirements

• NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
• 18th edition wiring regulations
• Fire alarm system training
• Manufacturer training, specifically Gent / Hanwha

Fire and Security Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Salary - 35,000 to 39,5000 depending on experience
• Working hours 8am - 4:30pm
• Call out rota, after 3 months - 1 in 3 weeks ( 180 standby payment for the week, x1.5 pay for all out of hours calls =)
