Job Description

Our Client based in Rutherglen, Glasgow are looking for a temporary Credit Controller to join their team for 4 weeks (possibly longer)


This is Monday - Friday and its 9am - 5pm fully onsite and they are paying 13.45 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Handling cases daily on the credit control system and actioning debt recovery strategies where appropriate

Actioning missing payment reports, including missing payroll & missing direct debits

Responding to member enquiries, negotiating payment plans, assessing emergency withdrawal requests and rescheduling loans where necessary

Liaising with external debt collection agencies, including solicitors

Responding to proposals from insolvency practitioners

Monitoring/processing payments received from members within the credit control system

Monitoring and actioning reports such as fee tracking and 6-consecutive payments

Support the Finance Manager in the production of monthly Board Reports, such as the Charge Off/Write Off Reports

Support the Finance Manager in the production of the financial dashboard
