CNC Turner
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner to work in Southampton, this role will involve setting operating and some programming.
The ideal candidate will have some programming from scratch experience
Job Description and Duties:
- To set and operate a CNC Lathe to produce components to specifications.
- Programming online and developing and modifying CNC programs
- Using Fanuc controls
- Reading engineering drawings and understanding ISO tolerances
- Identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions in the process.
- Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines.
- Working to safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met set by the management team.
The Ideal CNC Turner:
- Will be confident in setting and operating CNC lathes.,
- Have Fanuc experience or similar transferable controls.
- On-line programming from scratch would be preferred but candidates with any form of programming skills may also be considered.
Hours: Day Shift 7.30 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 7.30 - 15.00 Fridays
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 Plus bonus.
