Recycling / Warehouse Operatives - White Goods Recycling Sector

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
12.50 per hour
Temp to perm after 8 weeks
We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Recycling Operative to join our team in the recycling sector. This is an all-round role that involves working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, dismantling and recycling white goods appliances such as fridges, washing machines, and dishwashers. You will be part of an essential operation, ensuring that these goods are recycled effectively, reducing environmental waste and contributing to a greener planet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely dismantle white goods appliances for recycling
- Sort materials such as metal, plastic, and electronics for further processing
- Operate machinery and tools in accordance with safety guidelines
- Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the workplace
- Meet production targets and deadlines
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of recycling processes (training provided)
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- No prior experience necessary, but experience in production or warehousing is an advantage
