NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruitinf for a Fabricator Welder to join a well established precision engineering company based in Bristol.
Our client is a UK-based engineering company specialising in high-specification fabrication and welding for regulated industries. The business operates to strict quality and safety standards and offers long-term, stable employment.
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Fabricators / Welders to join our Bristol operation. The role involves producing complex fabricated assemblies to demanding specifications, primarily for defence-sector customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
- Assemble fabricated structures using hand tools and equipment
- Carry out MIG/MAG welding to approved procedures
- Work with weld symbols and quality requirements
- Operate cranes and carry out safe lifting operations
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Candidate Requirements
- Time-served apprenticeship in fabrication or welding
- Strong MIG/MAG welding experience
- Experience working to WPS and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Willingness to support apprentices and team members
Notes
This role requires proven fabrication and welding experience. Candidates must be comfortable working in regulated environments. Weld tests will form part of the selection process.
