Vehicle Technician

A position has become available for a Vehicle Technician to join our vehicle maintenance team.

Duties will include all types of vehicle repairs, working as part of a small team to keep our fleet of HGV's and Trailer's maintained to a high standard. Working on a fleet of HGVs to ensure they are roadworthy, prepping for MOTs, routine inspections, repairs and breakdowns, completing any relevant paperwork in relation to jobs done.

Good phone manor is required as you may be required to make or receive calls throughout the day from drivers or parts company's.

Understanding of basic Auto electrics and Fabrication is needed.

You will need to have a City & Guilds at Level Three in HGV Mechanic or similar with experience.

Previous experience is required such as HGV Technician, LGV Fitter, HGV Engineer, LGV Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, including trailers mainly SAF axles.

Driving License is required for collecting parts or attending breakdowns. HGV License would be ideal but not essential.

Working hours are 0800 until 1700 with 30mins for dinner Monday to Friday. (With occasional Saturday's in the event of a breakdown (paid at 1.5x)
