Corporate Audit Senior

A well-established and fast-growing accountancy firm in the Reading area is looking for a corporate audit senior to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified auditor looking to take the next step in their career, gain broader exposure across client sectors, and grow within a people-focused and supportive firm.

The role:

• Leading and delivering audit assignments from planning to completion for a wide-ranging portfolio of corporate and owner-managed businesses

• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process

• Reviewing work of junior team members, offering guidance and mentoring support

• Preparing financial statements in line with relevant reporting frameworks

• Identifying risk areas, technical challenges and contributing to process improvements

• Working collaboratively with managers, directors and partners across the audit function

About you:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to completing your qualification

• Strong experience delivering external audits within a UK accountancy practice

• Passionate about audit, with a desire to deliver high-quality work and excellent client service

• A positive, proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues

• Keen to take ownership of your development and help inspire those around you

• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
