Position: CNC Turner - Programme/Setter/Operator
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour. Overtime available at enhanced rates 1/3
Hours: Mon Thursday- 15.30pm 23.00pm Friday -12:30pm 21.30pm.
Location: Commutable from St Albans, Watford, Chesham, Amersham, Hemel Hempstead

Responsibilities

As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter Operator, you ll play a key role in producing high-specification, small-to-medium batch components for aerospace clients. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC Turning machines (Fanuc controls) to tight aerospace tolerances
• Work with premium materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, Nylon
• Accurately record job timings in the ERP system
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization (6S)
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 4-5 years proven experience in CNC Turning within aerospace or other high-precision sectors
• Skilled in setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
• Comfortable working to tight tolerances
• Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience
• CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus, but not essential
