The role of an Emotional Support Worker is a special one! You will be providing direct support and assistance to the students in the classroom. These students struggle with additional needs that include autism, ADHD, OCD, school avoidance, stress and anxiety. You will provide assistance in either 1 to 1 settings or in small groups. You will provide interventions that will help support the children and teach them healthy ways to cope and regulate their emotions. You will also be involved and help with the general running's of the classroom.
