Salary: 50,000- 55,000 + benefits (life assurance & medical)
Hours: Monday-Friday, days (flexible)
An established FMCG business in Peterborough is seeking a fully qualified, multi-skilled Engineering Supervisor to lead and inspire their engineering team. This is a hands-off leadership role: you'll focus on managing, coaching, and supporting your team, stepping in for technical work when needed.
We're looking for a down-to-earth, proactive people person-someone who leads by example, works alongside their team, and builds a positive, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled multi-disciplinary engineering team
Manage priorities, schedules, and team performance
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support when necessary
Ensure smooth maintenance and production operations
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
Requirements:
Fully qualified multi-skilled engineer (mechanical/electrical)
Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
Hands-on experience in FMCG/manufacturing preferred
Positive, proactive, and approachable team player
