The Opportunity

My Client is looking for motivated Systems Design Engineers to help evolve a LDEW air defence system.

This is a boundary-pushing programme at the forefront of UK defence innovation, combining pioneering technology with rapid weapon system development. Following highly successful, high-profile trials, the programme is moving at pace offering exciting opportunities across requirements, system design, performance analysis, and certification.

You ll play a key role within the Image Processing & Control subsystem, shaping complex system and software requirements in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.

What they are looking for

• Experience with electronic engineering requirements and embedded software/firmware systems

• Proven ability to develop and manage complex system design requirements

• Strong systems thinking with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels

• Experience managing requirements, verification, risk, and change across evolving baselines

Desirable: DOORS / DOORS NG / Rhapsody, lasers or optical physics knowledge
