Job Description

MPA recruitment welcome suitable applications for the role of Recruitment Consultant, based in our Coleraine branch.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will work within a well-established thriving healthcare recruitment team delivering the highest standards in customer care to both our clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • 360-degree recruitment of healthcare agency workers including candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing
  • Completing pre-employment checks in accordance with MPA standard operating procedures such as reference checks, Access NI's, NISCC/NMC etc.
  • Ensure a suitable pool of candidates is available to fill vacancies and/or bookings.
  • Respond to client requests as outlined within the organisation's framework.
  • Manage potential business opportunities including leads and referrals and to promote the full healthcare recruitment services offered by the company.
  • Generate new business through telephone and face to face sales activity.
  • Day to day performance management of agency staff, proactively seeking feedback on performance, coaching, and supporting staff in their various placements.
  • Work towards team targets set.
  • Participate in marketing events including attendance at various recruitment fairs.
  • Participate in the on-call service, rota based within the team (This is paid at an additional rate).
