Assign duties and examine work of subordinates for exactness and conformance to policies and procedures. Design and manage a well-controlled and global close process to ensure all internal and AMETEK corporate deadlines are met. Ensure completeness and timeliness of all Corporate required HFM reporting and web forms. Oversee preparation of the internal management reporting package and ensure accuracy and timeliness of data. Recommend updates and additions to package based upon business need. Provide support to internal Solartron ISA management including product margins, department spending, project costs, and other financial metrics. Provide leadership, development, and strategic direction to accounting staff including providing technical guidance and training as required. Lead all internal and/or external financial and SOX audits. Comply with all local statutory reporting requirements. Coordinate annual budgeting process and global consolidation of budget data. Monitor and report actual performance to final approved budget. Develop and maintain internal SOX 404 and operating policies and procedures of the accounting areas and ensure compliance with AMETEK internal control structure requirements. Perform monthly and quarterly inventory analysis and calculate excess and obsolete (E&O) reserves. Prepare and submit UK Corporation Tax reports accurately and on time. Coordinate and manage R&D Tax Claim submissions to the AMETEK UK Tax team. Complete VAT and Intrastat submissions in compliance with regulatory requirements. Produce and deliver the Annual Statutory Account Pack in accordance with UK standards. Other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; CPAA, ICAEW, or ACCA professional qualification preferred. 7-10 years of experience is required, preferrably in the manufacturing industry utilizing standard cost systems. ERP system implementation experience is a plus. Detail orientated. Excellent organization, documentation, and prioritization skills. Strong influence skills. Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. High motivation to achieve personal, team, and business goals.
