This is a senior technical role requiring a qualified Class 2A-F or Class 3 Registered Building Inspector with strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to provide expert professional advice. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations through detailed inspections, plan checking and oversight of complex applications. The successful candidate will manage their own case load, support internal council projects and deputise for the Team Manager when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre RBI seeking a stable, rolling contract with a leading local authority. Key Responsibilities Building Control & Technical Compliance Provide specialist technical advice on building control legislation, standards and compliance requirements. Undertake detailed inspections of building work in progress, ensuring full adherence to Building Regulations.
