Electrical Engineer Healthcare Contract (Surrey)

We are working closely with a technical service provider who is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join their team supporting a major healthcare contract in Surrey. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong technical capability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safe, reliable electrical systems within a critical clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of electrical systems within healthcare facilities
- Ensure compliance with HTM, statutory regulations, and best-practice safety standards
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions with minimal disruption to clinical operations
- Support project works, system upgrades, and equipment installations
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation
- Work collaboratively with estates and facilities teams to maintain first-class service levels
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Experience working in healthcare, hospitals, or other complex facilities (preferred)
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
