Private Client Paralegal

Location: Banbury

Salary - £25k to £28k, commensurate with experience

What you ll be doing:

The role will involve:

• Assisting fee earners with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Power of Attorneys and dealing with Administration of Estates
• Managing a small, straight-forward private client caseload, commensurate with experience
• Attending to clients by email, telephone and face to face
• Typing/drafting of legal documents and correspondence
• Time recording and preparing bills

Who were looking for:

Suitable candidates are likely to have:

• At least one year s experience working within a Private Client Department as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant supporting a Fee Earner
• Experience of using a legal case management system
• The ability to deal with sensitive, sometimes challenging, situations in a sympathetic and professional manner
• A good understanding of the law pertaining to wills, trusts, and probate
• Driving license and use of your own vehicle

This is a full-time permanent job which is fully office-based, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
