Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Drylining Subcontractor Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid Working) with travel required across Yorkshire & North West of England. Salary: 57,000 - 65,000 + Company Car/ Car allowance Role Overview: We're seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of drylining projects across Yorkshire and the North West. Based primarily in our Yorkshire office, the role also requires regular site visits to ensure accurate cost control and smooth project delivery. Responsibilities include pricing enquiries, securing work, managing project costs, preparing valuations, and providing full commercial support from tender through to final account. Projects range from commercial schemes to residential fit-outs, offering a varied and hands-on workload. Key Requirements: 5 years + experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (preferably for a drylining company) Strong all-round knowledge of Quantity Surveying in the Commercial/Residential/Retail/Healthcare Fit Out space Responsibilities: Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, valuations, and monthly CVRs. Price tenders for drylining, partitions, ceilings, and associated packages. Review drawings and specifications to produce accurate costings. Submit interim valuations, manage applications for payment, and track variations. Procure materials and subcontract labour, negotiating and managing costs throughout. Work closely with site teams to monitor costs, control change, and support project delivery. Prepare final accounts and maintain strong relationships with main contractors and project stakeholders.
