Role I am working with a highly respected regional law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor / FCILEx to join and support the continued growth of their Corporate and Commercial team. The team advises clients across a broad range of sectors, including e?commerce, IT, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, professional services, property & development, and retail. Working alongside a collaborative team of three experienced lawyers, you will help clients achieve their business goals while minimising legal risk. Responsibilities Advising on acquisitions, mergers and disposals Supporting clients on business start-ups, corporate finance and e?commerce matters Drafting and advising on franchise agreements Providing guidance on intellectual property matters Assisting with management buy?outs (MBOs) and buy?ins (MBIs) Handling reorganisations, demergers and corporate restructures Advising on employment and recruitment compliance Contributing to business development and attending networking events to promote the firm Firm Offering The firm offers hybrid working, with additional flexible arrangements available (part-time or term-time working). This role can be based at either the Newcastle city centre office or Stockton-on-Tees, with occasional travel between offices as required.
