We're seeking an AI Strategy & Industry Research Specialist with a strong understanding of investment analysis, research, and data curation to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role as the primary liaison between our Bloomberg Intelligence markets and industry analysts and Bloomberg's Product Management, Data and Engineering teams, driving innovation, and crafting the future of investment research through ground breaking technology. This position is a key driver in translating analyst insight and domain expertise into actionable research work flow efficiencies and engineering projects to ensure the success of AI Driven research tools!

We'll trust you to:

• Leverage your deep knowledge within investment analysis, research methodologies, and data analytics to identify and assess the quality and value of analyst insights and contributions
• Provide actionable research ideas for the development and direction of terminal-wide AI features and tools that evolve the landscape across investment research
• Coordinate large groups of research analysts to participate in training data curation, response validation, and formal feedback processes to improve the performance of AI models
• Translate Engineering requirements into structured, executable plans for BI personnel while synthesizing resulting unstructured feedback into detailed project descriptions for Engineering use.
• Be an advocate for the research technology platform across both Bloomberg Intelligence and the broader Bloomberg Terminal
• Drive consistent adoption of technology across the organization, experiment with new technologies, and stay up to date on emerging trends in AI and the implications for investment research
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to improve Bloomberg Intelligence research production tools (including written research publication, model and data management, data visualization and quality control) using ground breaking AI technology
• Collaborate with Compliance/ Risk Management teams to ensure all AI initiatives and research tools align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements

You'll need to have:

• 3 5 years of experience in investment research, investment analysis, or a related field
• Solid understanding of AI/NLP/ML applications in the investment research industry
• Proven track record in leading cross functional teams and large projects
• Ability to synthesize complex feedback and project requirements into clear, actionable tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently across departments
• Familiarity with compliance and risk processes in the financial services industry
• Experience working closely with Engineering teams is advantageous
