We also run the famous Into Film Festival, which sees over 3,000 screenings and events take place across 580 cinemas around the UK, reaching almost 400,000 young people and their educators, and the Into Film Awards, the UK's leading showcase for young filmmaking talent.

About the role

The Head of Income Generation is an exciting new position in which you will join the Communications and Development department, reporting to the Communications and Development Director. Leading a team of three, the Head of Income Generation will be responsible for developing and implementing a new income generation strategy, focusing on the corporate partnerships programme and building a trusts & foundations programme.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead on a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Identify and grow diversified income streams (corporate partnerships, trusts & foundations, statutory bodies).
  • Manage a team of three, ensuring that all staff are supported and motivated to hit agreed targets.
  • Lead fundraising forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes for senior management and board.
  • Work closely with the Head of Impact and Research, Policy & Public Affairs Lead and Heads of Programme to identify and align with new funding opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with donors, funders, and key stakeholders to ensure continued support.
  • Act as lead for Into Film's Development Committee, ensuring that meetings are managed and members are actively engaged.
Who we are looking for

This will suit a creative, commercial corporate partnerships and/or trusts & foundations specialist with line management and fundraising leadership experience.

  • Extensive experience in managing successful fundraising teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering significant income growth across a range of fundraising streams.
  • Experience of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to think creatively and commercially and bring together colleagues from across an organisation to shape funding bids.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including proposal writing, donor communications and reporting to senior management and board.
