Salary: 207- 321 per day
Tempest Resourcing is working in partnership with a Specialist Independent School for Girls to recruit a Humanities and Religious Education Teacher.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a well-established specialist setting that supports girls with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and associated learning needs, delivered through small class sizes and a highly supportive structure.
The Role:
- Teach Humanities and Religious Education across relevant key stages
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Support pupils with SEMH through a consistent, trauma-informed approach
- Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and multidisciplinary planning
- Work closely with pastoral, SEN, and therapeutic teams
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Has experience teaching Humanities and/or RE
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- Experience in SEN, SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision is highly desirable
- Is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
