Program, Set and operate CNC lathes running Fanuc controls. Load programmes, set tooling and adjust offsets to achieve correct dimensions. Produce high-precision turned components in a range of metals. Work to tight tolerances and complex geometries from detailed drawings. Perform first-off and in-process inspections, maintaining quality throughout the batch. Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and right-first-time output. Work closely with production, programming and quality teams. Keep machines and work area clean, safe and well organised. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and cycle times.
