About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will deliver clear, instruction-led support through focused one-to-one and small-group work. You'll help pupils follow routines, stay on task, and develop stronger learning habits using straightforward, goal-driven strategies. The environment demands control, reliability, and an organised approach.

Key Responsibilities as SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Targeted Support: Deliver structured academic assistance and practical interventions.
• Classroom Execution: Implement tasks, adapted materials, and subject-focused activities with precision.
• Behaviour & Regulation: Apply consistent, firm strategies to build discipline, self-management, and focus.
• Performance Monitoring: Log key behaviours and provide direct updates to teaching staff.
• Professional Coordination: Work efficiently with staff and external teams to maintain aligned expectations.

To succeed as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Experience in education, SEN, youth work, sports coaching, or similar structured settings.
• A steady, controlled approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence following clear behaviour frameworks and executing set plans.
• A proactive, independent mindset with strong situational awareness.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
