About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee day-to-day repairs, coordinate planned maintenance, and supervise contractors. This is a hands on leadership role ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all who live and work here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and carry out general maintenance tasks (basic plumbing, joinery, minor building repairs).
• Conduct regular safety inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Manage stock levels and liaise with contractors for specialist work.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, infection control, and fire safety standards.
• Support emergency procedures and participate in a winter on call rota.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in general maintenance, ideally in care or residential settings.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and joinery.
• MEWP and PASMA certifications (or willingness to work towards).
• A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to high standards.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to working around vulnerable adults.
