Sales Manager - Retaining Wall Solutions UK (Field-Based) Competitive package Our client are a market-leading provider of engineered retaining wall solutions, supporting infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial projects nationwide. With continued growth in demand, they are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to expand their presence across the civil engineering and contractor market. This is a strategic technical sales position focused on driving specification and product adoption through engineering consultancies, civil designers, groundworkers and main contractors. You will manage the full project cycle-from specification through tender to supply-working closely with design teams, decision makers and site partners. Key Responsibilities Develop strong relationships with engineering practices, consultants and specifiers to secure early design placement of retaining wall systems Identify and track project opportunities, ensuring proposals are converted into orders at construction stage Provide technical guidance, design support and product expertise to clients and partners Deliver CPDs, technical presentations and project workshops to educate project influencers Support contractors during installation through excellent customer service and problem resolution Manage project pipeline, report activity and work closely with internal engineering and commercial teams We are looking for a motivated, technically minded sales professional with: Experience selling Retaining Wall systems or Precast Concrete solutions. A strong track record working with consultants, engineers, specifiers and contractors. An understanding of the construction project cycle from concept to build. Excellent relationship-building, commercial awareness and communication skills. Ability to read and discuss engineering drawings (desirable).
