Overview of role: This is a collaborative role, with Mum present at home. The SEN Nanny will work in close partnership with Mum to manage after-school pickups and the evening routine. After school, Isabelle tends to feel tired and prefers to go straight home to rest and decompress. Alex, meanwhile, may enjoy stopping by the park on the way home. Mum and the Nanny will divide responsibilities to meet both children's needs. Both children can experience emotional dysregulation after school, so the Nanny will play an important role in helping them regulate their emotions and return to a state of calm. Isabelle responds well to quiet craft activities, while Alex may prefer playing in the communal gardens. The Nanny will provide full support with the evening schedule, including homework supervision, and preparing the evening meal. They will also assist with bath and bedtime.
