Role Overview As a Graduate Software Developer at Cognita Reply, you'll enter a high-pace environment that's at the cutting-edge of generative AI, working closely with OpenAI technologies. You'll help design and build intelligent software / agent-based solutions that transform how our clients work, leveraging frameworks from OpenAI and our own accelerators. You'll collaborate across teams, engage with clients, and contribute across the full development lifecycle - all while deepening your technical and consulting chops. Responsibilities Partner with senior engineers to build, deploy and maintain AI-driven systems using OpenAI models (e.g., custom agentic workflows, conversational interfaces) Configure and integrate solutions like ChatGPT Enterprise for clients: managing connectors, setting up brand-aligned responses & securing enterprise-grade deployments Translate business needs into technical designs - particularly in the context of generative AI and enterprise scale Collaborate with client experts to ensure our AI solutions are human-centred, usable and impactful Write, test and document high-quality code, leveraging modern stacks (e.g. Python, Node.js, React) and AI-aware frameworks Apply governance, compliance, and security best practices relevant to generative AI deployments Support adoption and engagement efforts: help build communities of practice, training modules, and outcome-measurable programmes Monitor performance, collect metrics/feedback and iterate on models and workflows for continuous improvement About the candidate On track to graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline Strong programming skills in Java and Python; familiarity with Node.js and React.js is a plus Demonstrable interest in generative AI, agent-based systems or advanced automation Comfortable with agile ways of working and cross-discipline teaming Excellent communication skills - you'll be working with clients, peers, domain experts and senior stakeholders Flexible mindset: you'll be working across industries and potentially travelling to client sites A curious, proactive learner who is ready to experiment, make things happen, and grow fast in a startup-style environment within a large Group Reply is an Equal Opportunities Employer and committed to embracing diversity in the workplace.
