The Role We're looking for an IT Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team. As a small, high-impact organisation, this is a hybrid engineering and support role. You will be responsible for projects involving IAM, SaaS Integrations, and MDM, while also owning the day-to-day work to keep our operations running smoothly. This role requires both strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise, as you will regularly work with our Trading, Engineering and Operations teams. Experience in crypto or finance is not required, what matters is your ability, mindset, and how you work with others. This is an office-based role, and occasional travel may be required. What You'll Do Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Google Workspace, Okta and other SaaS Troubleshoot MDM configurations and device management problems Provide day-to-day user support (deskside and remote), including troubleshooting printers, peripherals, and connectivity Manage the IT hardware lifecycle, including ordering equipment, inventory management, and device setup Handle problems that require understanding of system interdependencies Design solutions that prevent issues without creating new problems Evaluate and understand the security implications of your decisions across the organisation Autonomously identify and implement automation for common problems Communicate effectively with colleagues Create technical documentation that captures your knowledge Profile We're Looking For 5+ years supporting technical teams Strong grasp of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting Background in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and tool creation Experience supporting teams working with sensitive or classified data Experience operating within compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001 Strong candidates may also have Deep understanding of IAM including SAML, SCIM and OIDC Experience configuring and supporting development environments Advanced troubleshooting across macOS and/or Linux environments Familiarity managing configurations in git (Terraform) Expert knowledge of MDM platforms, device enrollment, configuration profiles, and security policies What We Offer A collaborative, high-performance environment where you can have an immediate impact. The Role: Key Responsibilities You will be the core IT support presence, focused on maintaining stringent service levels and managing the full life cycle of hardware within your designated hub and surrounding areas. Ticket Management: Proactively manage and update all assigned support tickets (for the Hub and surrounding spoke locations) to ensure all contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. Hardware Logistics & Asset Management: Perform end-to-end management of IT stock. This includes the precise scanning/logging of equipment in and out of locations to maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
