Job Title: Steel Fitters (x2)
Location: Tilbury
Start Date: Monday 15th January 2025
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
We are looking for two experienced Steel Fitters to join our team on an 8-week contract starting Monday in Tilbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals who can handle conveyor steelwork and associated tasks.
Key Responsibilities- As a Steel Fitter, you will install handrails, bends, and bolt-on steel guards
- Steel fitting, grinding, and drilling holes
- General fabrication and assembly of conveyor components
- Occasional weekend work may be required
- Potential work over Christmas (24th, 25th, 26th, 31st, 1st OFF )
- CSCS Card Mandatory
- IPAF Certification Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of steelwork and fabrication
- Ability to work with conveyors and associated components
- Welding experience nice to have, not essential
- Standard: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (flexible)
- Optional extended hours: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Overtime: Paid after 47.5 hours/week (OT rate applies after 50 hours)
- Must be prepared for potential Christmas shifts
- Weekend work may be required
