We re representing a successful engineering business with a strong reputation for delivering high-specification process systems to global clients in highly regulated industries. Due to sustained growth, they are now seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their established multi-disciplinary team.

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

You ll work closely with other engineers to deliver complete electrical design solutions for complex, skid-based process equipment. This will include:

• Producing detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical (training provided if needed)
• Integrating a wide range of instrumentation and control devices
• Overseeing panel build, testing, safety checks and FAT
• Utilising simple test programs (TIA Portal knowledge advantageous)
• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high quality and meet deadlines

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Proven experience in electrical design for industrial or process equipment
• Comfortable working from concept through to commissioning
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical (or willingness to learn)
• Knowledge of control systems, instrumentation and FAT procedures
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
